1. Who we are

These Terms govern your use of Celebrity.Compare (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use it. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

3. The Service

Celebrity.Compare is a free entertainment service. You choose a photo, our system compares the face in it with a gallery of well-known people, and you see the ones it finds most similar. We build the gallery from Wikidata and freely licensed photos on Wikimedia Commons. The people in it have no connection with us and do not endorse the Service.

You must be 18 or older to use the Service.

5. Your photos

You keep all rights to the photos you upload. You allow us to process each photo only to compare it with the gallery and show you the results.

Upload only photos of yourself, or of another adult who has agreed to it. Do not upload photos of children, or content that is illegal, offensive or infringes anyone's rights. You are responsible for the photos you upload.

6. Rules of use

Do not:

• use the Service for anything unlawful;
• use it to identify, track or profile anyone. It is not an identification tool, and its results do not show who a person is;
• access it with bots, scrapers or other automated means;
• get around the rate limits;
• try to copy the gallery or our models, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• interfere with the Service or its servers.

We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.

7. Results

Results come from an automatic comparison and are for entertainment only.

• The similarity percentage shows how close two photos look to the algorithm. It is not an opinion about your appearance.
• The gender and age estimates are guesses from one photo and can be wrong.
• Results depend on the photo: light, angle, resolution and the size of the face.
• Names, descriptions and facts about the people in the gallery come from Wikidata and may contain errors.
• Results say nothing about anyone's identity, origin or character. Do not use them to make decisions about a person.

If you find something wrong or offensive about a person in the results, write to oleg@celebrity.compare.

8. Sharing

When you share a match, you choose what to share and where. The picture contains your photo, and you are responsible for sharing it.

9. Intellectual property

The site, its design, code and name belong to us. These Terms give you the right to use the Service and nothing more.

The photos of the people in the gallery belong to their authors and are published on Wikimedia Commons under free licences. We show the author and licence with each photo and link to its source page. If you reuse a photo, its licence applies to you.

10. Availability

We provide the Service free of charge, as it is and as available. We do not guarantee that it works without interruptions or errors, and we may change, limit or stop it at any time.

11. Liability

The Service is free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage arising from its use or from its results. This does not limit our liability for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, or any liability the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Governing law

Spanish law governs these Terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in any court the law allows you to use.

13. Changes

We may change these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the Service after a change, the new Terms apply.
